Artist's Comments Ooops, I did it again... (....  )I should be ashamed of myself (but I'm not!  ) - Yep, Dex again - but this one has a purpose in being dedicated to ~Salamas and all the other girls over on the Dex thunk thread (Sal, Purple, Doggy, Neelan, Blue, Tel, Shae, Ice, Tanis, Browneyes, Cathain, Phoenix... you all rule!) on Gateworld: If any of you are viewing this here, many  s from me!So... Ronon Dex circa the beginning of Season 2 (when he first joins the team). Boy, have his dreads grown over the last couple of years! They look so short in this in comparison to now... This one was actually harder to draw than my last attempt (Runner - [link]) - I thought this one would be pretty straightforward, but it all ended up being a bit of a mare. Why are men's mouths so frickin' hard to draw?! Technical whinge - still hate my scanner. It keeps making the heavily shaded areas look pants (not just on this but on all my pics). Can't figure out what I need to do to be able to scan smooth images (apart from throw this hunk of junk out and get a new, decent scanner!). Any tips? Ronon Dex features in the TV series Stargate Atlantis and is played by the very scrummy Jason Momoa. |
