Okies - not a long entry because I'm busy, but just to let people know (especially people from the NWN club) the reasons why I dropped off the side of the planet over the last few days. Part of it is because I'm having internet connection problems (I have a new laptop which is whining massively about me using Firefox as my default internet browser... I hate Vista!), but it's mainly due to the fact that I have spent a good 24 hours in hospital with Lucy following a very, very scary allergic reaction she had Monday evening.
Basically, I was feeling tired and a bit under the weather - since I didn't have any expressed breast milk defrosted, we decided to give her her first ever bottle of formula milk, just to give me a bit of a break (we also wanted to make sure she would take it just in case I was ever ill enough to not be able to feed her).
Gods, I wish I never had. She's had a bit of a cold recently (we are both a bit snuffly), so hubby and I didn't realise that she was reacting to the milk until she started choking and frothing at the mouth. She then went bright red, her face swelled up and she started struggling to breathe... we immediately called the ambulance and she was rushed into hospital with a severe allergic reaction. They reckon she is allergic to milk proteins (common in little ones, unfortunately), but hers is incredibly severe, so we now have to carry an epipen with us whereever we go... yeah, scary, considering she's only 3 months old. What scares me even more is it was an allergic reaction that killed my sister in law, so I'm feeling a bit fragile right now.
The good thing is she has some hypoallergenic formula prescribed for her just in case we need it... the problem is it tastes pretty awful. Luckily I was intending to breastfeed her until she was 9 months / a year old any way - let's just hope my milk holds out!! Weaning is going to be an absolute nightmare...
So, yeah. Needless to say, life on the net is taking somewhat of a backseat right now! I'm just putting all my energy into Lucy - she's fine (apart from still having this damn cold), but each time she coughs I have yet another mini heart attack.

Being April and all (and not actually having any time to do any
I'm not very organised when it comes to my messages!), so some of you might get devwatch messages from me (either due to moving you around or because I lamentably and inexcusably didn't get round to adding you when I thought I had 
). I've also decided to offer up some of my lineart for colouring purposes, but more of that later...
